An instructional video titled "Apply Conditional Logic to an Application" by GO Smart. The video explains "Conditional Logic," also known as "Show and Hide" functionality, which allows administrators to show or hide specific application questions based on an applicant's previous answers. The video demonstrates a live example where selecting "Yes" to the question "Do you have a pet?" triggers a secondary list of pet types to appear, while selecting "No" keeps the secondary question hidden. It concludes by defining the core components: Primary Question, Secondary Question, Rule, and Value.
📖 Important Terms to Know
Primary Question: The controlling question that decides when other questions appear.
Secondary Question: The question that appears or disappears based on how the applicant answers the first question.
Rule: The condition that links the primary and secondary questions.
Action: The way the rule checks the answer (Is, Is Not, Contains).
Value: The exact answer or text that triggers the rule (e.g., “Yes”).
