Go to the Grant Manager tab and choose Mass Mailer subtab.
Select your program and cycle from the dropdown menu.
Check the status(es) of applicants you want to send a message to.
Click Select.
Add all necessary information.
Include a custom name and "reply to" email address.
Include a BCC address if you would like to receive a single copy of the email.
Choose to Attach Application PDF (optional).
Click Preview Email to review your message.
Click Send to finalize and send the email, or click Edit to go back and modify the message.

📩 Mass Mailer Use Cases
Effective use cases for the mass mailer:
Alerting applicants that a deadline is approaching.
Emailing funded applicants to inform them that a report form is now open.
Inviting previous applicants back to the system for a new cycle.

PDF Attachments
⚠️ Alert: The Mass Mailer only attaches the primary Application PDF. It cannot attach Interim or Final Reports.
💡 Tip: To send the Intent to Apply, Interim Report, or Final Report forms en masse, create a Status Mailer for the [Form Type] status and then change the user's status to that [Form Type] Received status from the Grant Manager Dashboard.
📝 Note: While attaching a PDF ensures the applicant has a final copy of their application, they can always generate this PDF from their Grant Applications & Forms dashboard.
Email Delivery
💡 Tip: Include a BCC to keep an administrative record. Note that you’ll receive a copy of every email sent; to confirm large sends, consider adding a test applicant to the group instead.
📝 Note: All emails will be sent from noreply@gosmart.org. We recommend adding a note on your site or in your submission and confirmation messages that applicants should add this address to their whitelists to ensure receipt of all system emails.
