🗂️ Category Sort Select Menu
A dropdown with custom responses that allows a single selection. The applicant's answer displays on the Grant Manager Dashboard and the panelist’s dashboard.
⚠️ Alert: This question type cannot be used on the Intent to Apply page or when the Multiple Submission tool is used.
⚠️ Alert: There is a limit of three Category Sort Select Menu fields per cycle.

☑️ Checkbox(es)
A list of options with a checkbox that allows for multiple selections.
🔘 Radio Button(s)
A list of options that allows a single selection.
🔽 Select Menu
A dropdown menu that allows a single selection OR multiple selections.
📝 Note: For Checkbox, Radio Button, and Select Menu types, you can change their order, and set any options as pre-selected (default) choices.
💬 Text Area (Small, Medium, Large)
Text boxes where applicants can write their answers. Select a size based on the length of the answer you want.
Small is for short answers like names, with limits of 2, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 75, and 100 characters.
Medium is for short paragraphs, with limits of 100, 250, 500, and 1000 characters.
Large is for extended essays, with limits of 1500, 2000, 2500, 3300, 5000, 10,000, and 15,000 characters.
💡 Tip: Always double-check your character limits, as a limit set too low could cut off applicant responses.
📅 Date
A dropdown menu for selecting the day, month, and year. You can also specify the range of years available for selection.
⚠️ Alert: You must manually update the year range if you clone or create a template for a page with a Date field.
📁 File Upload
Allows applicants to upload a file from their computer or device. Supported image or text files include: PDF, DOCX, XLSX, TXT, JPG, or PNGs. Images must be 1000 x 1000 pixels, and all files must be 10 MB or less.
⚠️ Alert: You can not use files in the Media Library on File Upload fields. You can add a Media Library Selection Page as an alternate option.
ℹ️ Info Only
Read-only text or instructions that do not require a response.
💾 Save Button
An additional Save Button allowing applicants to save throughout the page.
💡 Tip: Every page has a save button at the bottom by default. Adding additional Save buttons can be helpful after lengthy text questions or pages exceeding 15 questions to avoid loss.
